wothird_column first]Who We Are. We are Spirit Memorials, a family run headstone and memorial business with showrooms in Limerick City & Mountbellew Co. Galway. As fifth generation funeral directors, established since 1860, we bring a wealth of knowledge to the memorial and headstones industry.

What we do. We listen to your needs and wants. We provide you with all the details you need to make the step in choosing a new or replacement stone, plaque or memorial for your deceased loved one or yourself. The steps involved – We visit your grave and discuss all the options available to you – We carefully source the best quality stone  – We arrange planning with the council – Advise you of the lead time and finalise the required inscription, etching or photograph details with you before erecting your stone to your satisfaction.

Why us? We believe every stone tells a story. Our customers come first, we spend time listening and understanding what our customers want in a stone. We try to match your brief as closely as we possibly can. We pay attention to detail, if there is something that reminds you of your loved one, we want to help you prolong that memory.  We can do this by creating an image that was close to their heart, a ceramic photo, an etching of an image or even just a symbol like a ball, teddy, dove or angel that tells a story.

We don’t just erect the stone, we want your grave to look well so we also offer a service for additional inscriptions, renovations and cleanings of existing headstones and graves.
